Acoustic Silencer SM25
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
SM25 silencers are absorption type.
The gas passes through a duct lined with high acoustic efficiency sound absorbing material protected by perforated sheet metal.
DESCRIPTION
The nominal inlet diameter completes the designation of the silencer (P.e. SM25 DN200).
The inlet and outlet pipes are axial, the body is made of steel with a cylindrical shape closed by conical, flat or pumped bottoms, depending on the application.
PROTECTION
Silencer treatment by high-temperature finish paint.
The silencer is not provided to resist temperatures and pressures due to fuel explosions.
ACCESSORIES
Silencers can be provided with the following optional accessories:
- Flanges and counter flanges.
- Set of gaskets and screws.
- Supports.
- Spark extinction chamber.
For special equipment or special situations such as: temperatures above 500 ºC, diameters above 800 mm., Special steels, etc …
AVERAGE SOUND DIMMING CURVE
Measured under normal operating conditions and once the background noise has been eliminated. (Parasites)
According to ISO 6798 standard.
ASSEMBLY
- Acoustic Silencer SM25
- The muffler must be mounted on the exhaust pipe.
- The direction of flow must be respected.
- Expansion compensator.
The silencer fixing system must allow its free expansion.
