Acoustic Silencer SM30

Small 30 silencers are of the mixed type: Reactive-Absorbent. The gas enters an expansion chamber upholstered in sound absorbing material and protected with perforated sheet metal, then passes through an absorption silencer.

The nominal inlet diameter completes the designation of the silencer (e.g. SMaII 30 DN250). The inlet mouth can be radial or axial and axial outlet. The body is made of steel with a cylindrical shape closed by conical, flat or pumped bottoms, depending on the application.

The silencer is treated with high temperature finish paint. The silencer is not intended to withstand temperatures and pressures resulting from fuel explosions.

Silencers can be provided with the following optional accessories:

• Flanges and counter flanges.
• Set of gaskets and screws.
• Supports.
• Spark extinction chamber.

For special equipment: temperature greater than 500 ºC, diameters greater than 800 mm., Special steels, etc…

According to ISO 6798 standard.

• The silencer must be mounted on the exhaust pipe.
• The direction of flow must be respected.
• Expansion compensator.

The silencer fixing system must allow its free expansion.
